Flipped and Blended Learning

A good description of blended learning can be found here as defined by Catlin Tucker. It was her presentation earlier this year that truly inspired me to begin the process of flipping my classroom. She is a big advocate of getting students to participate in online discussions as a part of their nightly homework as it is through this type of interaction that students can deepen their learning and develop a passion for the subject.
